Pixel Joint
Love at first sprite.
I started my career with pixel art, which quickly became my first creative love.
There’s something fascinating about building entire worlds out of tiny squares.
It taught me how much you can communicate with very little — how a few carefully placed pixels can suggest movement, emotion, and atmosphere. It taught me that you don’t need a million polygons or fancy effects to tell a good story — sometimes, a handful of pixels and a little imagination do the trick.
Even now, no matter what kind of project I’m working on, a part of me will always be drawn to those charming, tiny worlds made of squares.
Poppy Field
I adore poppies and landscapes at night. The picture below contains all of this.
It took me forever to draw the initial 'night' picture. I later decided to play with it. So, I made three palettes by changing the colours on the colour table: morning, daytime, and evening.
All colours are interchangeable, which means that the picture always stays the same. All mood change is achieved only by switching the palette file. We used this technique in Gameloft while working on pixel backgrounds to save memory space: palette files are very light and cost almost nothing.

Dream
One of my strange fantasy dreams: a mountain, deep woods and people with torches, going somewhere.

Experiments
A long, long, long time ago, my friend decided to produce Lines for his e-reader. I had to help him!

Playing with the Hexels editor is fun!
It isn't a TRUE pixel art, but the conception is similar.
